Saturday 5th February 2016.
We booked a trip along the South Coast stopping at various places along the way to photograph the places of interest. This trip was organised by Reykjavik Excursions and travelled along the south coast as far as Vik with it’s black sand beaches and Basalt cliffs. We visited two large waterfalls, a third waterfall was planned but when the coach tried to reach it, the road was blocked by snow and the driver had to reverse about half a km as it was a single track road and nowhere to turn around. In the evening, the Aurora tour was again called off and we spent the evening photographing the magnificent Reykjavik concert hall called Harpa.
