Venice – Day 5, 26 Oct – Sunrise & back to the hotel

Up early on our last day to try for another sunrise at the waterfront of St Marks Square. It was a bit disappointing but there was some colour. Walking back to the hotel, we photographed some of the interesting shop displays again.
Then we checked out and headed back to the airport and home. It was a great break and thoroughly enjoyable.

A glove shop. Hand made leather gloves, looked fabulous but not sure we could afford a pair.
Chiesa di Santa Maria del Giglio. Built in 1681, this Roman Catholic church with a Baroque Venetian facade houses sacred paintings.
