This is Carole’s birthday and we had arranged for a photographer to take us on a photographic tour of the Niagara Falls. We arrived in the hotel lobby at 08:45 ready to be picked up at 09:00. The car never arrived and after a couple of frantic phone calls we found out that the Tour Company had failed to inform the photographer that we needed to be picked up, in fact he never received the booking! Carole was understandably upset as this was the only reason to come to Toronto in the first place.
The Hotel concierge, seeing how distressed Carole was, was most helpful and arranged a private limousine to take us to the Niagara Falls on the following day (this turned out to be cheaper that the booked tour) and some tickets for the Hop-on, Hop-off bus for today so we could sightsee Toronto. These are the photos I took on the Toronto Tour.
