After checking out of the Ocean Beach Hotel, we drove into San Diego to find a new hotel, and booked a room in the Best Western Plus Island Palms Hotel and Marina. I say room it was more of a suite with a separate living area and 2 bathrooms plus a balcony overlooking the boats in the marina. Such an idyllic setting after the previous hotel.
